Now there’s one meal I know a lot of people skip or don’t have time for and that’s breakfast. But as someone who cannot start the day with out it I love to find quick and easy ways to make breakfast in the mornings more convenient as well as delicious.
With this make-ahead high protein peanut butter chocolate oat bake you can prep it the night before and bake it the following morning. Or if you REALLY have no time you can do both the night before, just remember to pop it in a container and take it with you when leave the house.

This high protein oat bake is rich, chocolaty and delicious. And it really does taste like a real treat. You can eat it hot, cold, with an extra serving of peanut butter or berry compote. Customising this recipe to suit your own tastes is pretty easy. Want more chocolate? Throw in a handful of choc chips. Or not a chocolate fan? Just swap out the cacao powder for extra peanut flour.
Planning ahead really can save you time overall so why not bake it now and enjoy for the rest of the week. Simply refrigerate and cut a square off in the morning.

High Protein Peanut Butter Chocolate Oat Bake
An easy and delicious make ahead breakfast that will last you the week.
- 2 cups. jumbo rolled oats
- 2 cups. almond milk
- 1/2 cup. mashed banana
- 1/4 cup. peanut butter
- 1/4 cup. peanut flour
- 1/4 cup. cacao powder
- 2 tbsp. flaseed
- 1 tsp. vanilla (optional)
Pre heat the oven to 180c
Place all of the ingredients into a glass container*
Stir until well combined
Drizzle 2 tbsp. peanut butter over the top
Bake for 30 minutes, until firm
Remove from the oven and serve warm, or leave to cool
Top with banana, berry compote or additional peanut butter
*Make sure you use jumbo rolled oats in this recipe and not instant*
